Vaillancourt Santa GREEN BELSNICKLE Christmas Collectible Chalkware
This vaillancourt christmas belsnickle is from unsold shop stock. One on the right elbow & a tiny one on the tip of the hood. The white spots on his eyes are not chips, they are painted dots.
This item has not been cleaned & appears dusty looking. A sticker had been placed on the bottom & removed some of the paint.

More photos are always available at your request. The piece pictured was painted during the fifth year of the company, 1988. The bottom of the piece was sanded t. Someone placed price stickers on the bottom, removing some of the paint. Mould country of origin: germany. These pieces are made in antique window display chocolate moulds. During the 19th century, chalkware was sculpted gypsum painted with watercolors. Duplicated pieces have variations, as each one is hand painted. No two pieces will be exactly the same.
Simply dust using a soft dry cloth. Do not use any type of adhesive sticker for identification purposes. Store in cool dry place. Avoid direct contact with moisture or water.
