They are One of a Kind so you can Collect a different one each year!! I hand sculpt using clay that when baked resembles fine porcelain. I diligently work on his expression so each one has his own character and appears ready to speak just for you! His kind eyes are acrylic and his hair is high quality Mohair that I hand apply to give a natural look. Santa’s body is hand made from metal rods, batting and wire, all encased in his cotton’ Union Suit’ to give him a human form and I securely fasten to a wood base, for display. As Santa’s personality grows I accessorize him to best represent the Era he inspires most. Santa’s Clothes, Accessories and Boots are hand made by me. I use no patterns or forms for my dolls, they are Original Designs and One of a Kind. Santa’s Coat is hand made from Vintage Wool, with 5 different trims, including a’Reindeer’ trim across the bottom hem. There is a small jute braid with silver beads along his hood. His hand holds my hand knit Stocking filled with candy and a book, a 1800′s Replica of a Children’s book, while his other hand struggles to finish decorating the Christmas Tree in time!! This tree is hand made replica of a German Feather tree and under it sits gifts of a Boat, Doll House and wrapped packages. Santa’s boots are hand made of a soft black leather and laced in front. Santa has a sprinkling of Snow Dust to catch the light make him’Sparkle’! Along with each doll comes a hand made card detailing my work and on the cover is an Original Vintage Christmas Post Card.
