Outdoor Christmas train decoration with track
Are you interested in adding a train to your Christmas display? The train was handmade, not my me, I enhanced it to a Christmas train. For sale is an electric powered train, the center rail is powered; so theres no recharging a battery. The current track layout that I set-up is approximately 30 ft x 20 ft (see picture); I have two additional ten foot straight sections of track not used in this layout. Theres approximately 140-150 of track; 10 straight sections and four corners. Like any electric prop, it takes a little tinkering at times; mostly just to keep the steel rails clean, but not too clean. The train needs a little resistance from the tracks to grip it; occasionally I clean the track with steel wool. The engine is 30 long x 18 high x 16 wide; each car is 20 long x 16 high x 8 wide. The cars light up. The motor is a sewing machine motor. The track is wood frame with steel rails. Note, since the center rail is powered by electricity, you will get shocked if you touch the center rail when the train is plugged in. Fits in a 6 x 12 trailer.
