Green Red Gold Vintage Christmas Ornament Wreath Handmade 16 OOAK Shiny Brite
Reminisce about days gone by with this beautiful vintage ornament wreath. This is done in traditional red, green, gold and blue colors and is approximately 16 in diameter. It features several Santa ornaments, a bottle brush tree, a holiday horn, a small doll, a small teddy bear and an adorable mouse from Katherines Collection, as well as the round ball ornaments. It is loaded with ornaments, and has a thickness of probably 4 to 5. Each wreath is lovingly hand created from start to finish, using a new foam wreath form, new tinsel, and vintage mercury and other glass ornaments. Newer ornaments may be used for filler and to give the wreath added personality, but the majority of the ornaments are vintage, and as such, show varying degrees of patina and wear. This adds to the charm of these one of a kind wreaths. I use ornaments from Shiny Brite, Mr. Christmas, Rauch, Krebs, Coby and others as well as ornaments made in Poland, West Germany, and the United States, among other places. Since each wreath is created differently, not all will have all of the listed ornaments on them. Due to the fragile nature of the wreaths, they are not recommended for exterior doors, or to be hung outside. The best place to put them is on a wall within your home away from extreme heat or cold, as these may cause the hot glue to come undone and you may lose some of the ornaments. Each wreath has a small wire hanger on the back, and I have found that Command hooks work very well to hang them. Your guests will be delighted and amazed at the beautiful creation on your wall, and you can rest easy knowing that no one will ever have one that looks just like yours! Note: Due to the handmade nature of these items, you may notice hot glue residue, webbing from the strings of glue, and so on.
