Plastic does have standard manufacturing holes. There is a hint of an Avon perfume smell, but it doesn’t smell moldy or musty. Please note that since this is a sealed item from 1987, I’m unable to fully validate the contents inside. I can see the cloth advent calendar is folded and there are no significant rips, snags or stains that are visible through the plastic. The mouse appears to be in excellent condition with no visible stains on the front. The plastic shows some aging, dirt and wear. Some dust or other particles may have gotten into the bag through the plastics manufacturing holes.
