A remarkable, rare and early antique Black Forest carving of the well known Krampus from Austro-Bavarian Alpine folklore. Dating to the mid 19th Century this fantastic Krampus has been skillfully and beautifully carved, and his detailing is quite incredible. He has a few minor losses. The tips of his horns and ears are absent.
