When I saw these I just had to have them – for myself, my family, my friends, and for you! The detail is exquisite. Cloisonne’ is an ancient metal working technique that involves painting a metal surface with layers of enamel and baking the piece between each layer. The enamel layers become very hard and almost glass-like. Finally, all exposed metal surfaces are plated with gold to give additional highlights to the piece. It can take several days to make just one ornament. These beautiful hummingbirds are 2 7/8″ across the wings, and 2″ from head to tail.
