Vaillancourt Santa GREEN BELSNICKLE Christmas Collectible Chalkware
This vaillancourt christmas belsnickle is from unsold shop stock. One on the right elbow & a tiny one on the tip of the hood. The white spots on his eyes are not chips, they are painted dots. This item has not been cleaned & appears dusty looking. A sticker had been placed on the bottom & removed some of the paint. Last photo shows how to read the bottom information. Vaillancourt Starlight Santa #11 From 2000
This santa is one of the bigger starlight santas. He stands at 7.5 tall and is substantial in width also. His hat has a detailed bell on the end instead of a pom pom. He has a wonderful face with gray eyes and a very long detailed beard. The blue sack he holds has the stars on it and a crescent moon. He has red and white striped mittens, great bushy eyebrows and reading glasses! He was only made in the year 2000 in sutton, massachusetts in the usa. 13th annual vaillancourt father christmas holding a child. This santa has beautiful green eyes and a very nice face with a long beard. The child is brown eyed and looks to have christmas pajamas on. Made by hartley greens, specifically for vaillancourt folk art. The entire line is designed by judi vaillancourt, but based upon antique shapes and themed specifically for the holidays. Like all of their christmas chalkware and ornaments this creamware bowl represents the highest quality and history combined. It was given to me, probably 10 years ago, as a gift from my sister. I have used it over the years for salads, pasta and most attractively filled with antique christmas ornaments. As far as i know the pattern has been discontinued and is no longer in production.
