Vintage 1959 Holt Howard Christmas Santa Claus Pitcher Jug & 6 Cups /Mugs Set
Hi, Here we have a 1959 vintage set of Christmas Holt Howard Santa Claus ceramic pitcher with six (6) cup/ mugs set. This is a nice set in decent shape with mild and mirror issues from being 61 years old just from normal use and wear and tear. The pitcher has the most crazing on it and a few cups have some minor crazing. There is some minor paint loss on some cups mostly around the top rim. There is just normal wear from age. Also this set has been inspected by both my husband and myself to look for damage and things wrong with it. We did not find any chips, breaks or cracks(except in the Santa pitcher there is a small crack at the top going down a few inches) all these thing were pictured so they should be seen in the photos. There might have been a few cups with out stickers or there was some thing wrong with the stickers. I wish they would allow a lot more photos on an old item like this so you can see everything and it takes a lot to point out everything the one little cup has a green spot in it. I did not clean this set because I do not know how to do it correctly and I know sometimes you can do more harm then good if you do not know what you are doing 100% so with that being said I will leave the cleaning up to the new owner. I do not know much about that cold paint they used on things back then and I only like and prefer to sell clean items but sometimes you just have to let some go uncleaned and dirty because of lack of cleaning knowledge.
