This santa is one of the bigger starlight santas. He stands at 7.5 tall and is substantial in width also. His hat has a detailed bell on the end instead of a pom pom. He has a wonderful face with gray eyes and a very long detailed beard. The blue sack he holds has the stars on it and a crescent moon. He has red and white striped mittens, great bushy eyebrows and reading glasses! He was only made in the year 2000 in sutton, massachusetts in the usa. Made by hartley greens, specifically for vaillancourt folk art. The entire line is designed by judi vaillancourt, but based upon antique shapes and themed specifically for the holidays. Like all of their christmas chalkware and ornaments this creamware bowl represents the highest quality and history combined. It was given to me, probably 10 years ago, as a gift from my sister.
