Simple plug-n-play operation: follow these steps below. Press the “mode” button to select desired effect: steady on, flash/fade, flash, or chase. System will turn off automatically at your set timer or at dawn. You will likely need a converter/transformer to step down from your 220v electrical outlets. These utilize 110v or 120v max.
This device has three outlets in which to plug light strings or decorative lighting outfits. The unit is capable of. 125v/60hz/8.4a/1008w tungsten max or 336w per receptacle. To calculate the number of light sets or other decorative lighting outfit can work with the device, follow these steps. Refer to your light set or decorative lighting outfit gift box to determine the set wattage. Divide 336w by the wattage of the light set or decorative lighting outfit. The resulting number of sets can be safely plugged into each outlet. You have a mini light set of 100w (this info is usually posted on the box or at the plug of your light).
Dividing 336 by 100w, the result 3. You can safely plug up to 3 of these mini light sets into 1 of the receptacle on the device. Steady on: all 3 outlets are steady on, with no special effects. Flash/fade: 3 outlets illuminate on & off for a flashing and fading effect.
Flash: 3 outlets turn on & off rapidly for a flashing effect. Chase: 3 outlets illuminate on & off one at a time in sequence to create a chasing effect. Otherwise, please pay within 5 days.
