Thousands of rhinestones adorn this tree, topped with a mid century bright orange enamel flower and gold and clear crystal pendant. This bling tree sits on top of an Antique Aynsley bone china tea saucer in turquoise which brings out the turquoise stones used on the tree. It features many pieces of antique and vintage jewelry including brooches, dangle earrings, pendants, and necklaces. Each piece has a story to tell. Much of the jewelry was at one time very sought after. Krementz, Coro, are included just to name a few. I re-purposed and recycled all of this jewelry into one amazing piece of art that will look wonderful year round in your home. The jeweled tree is encrusted with rhinestones and have Japanese seed beads and German glitter glass throughout. No empty spaces on this tree that measures 12″ tall and about 5″ wide at bottom. This all started with a simple Styrofoam cone. To put things into perspective, the tree now weighs almost 4 pounds That’s a LOT of BLING! I carefully selected the finest of stones and jewelry for months and months. I used state of the art glue and each piece had to set for an hour before being able to add more. This took me many hours to complete. I loved every second of it. This will be adored by it’s new owner for the rest of her life. I’m so proud of this beautiful piece of art I created. There is no other like it! It looks amazing in my lit curio cabinet. And it would be a fantastic Christmas table centerpiece! The most interesting part to this jeweled tree is the two different faces it has. It represents the human nature in us all. There is the bright, colorful, happy and beautiful side. And then there’s the dark side. The back of this tree OR FRONT IF YOU CHOOSE! Is comprised of only black, silver and gold. What a beautiful combination. Therefore, this jeweled tree is named Schism.
