This is a vintage LL Bean Handmade wooden advent calendar. It was produced for LL Bean in the 80′s by a small company in Windsor VT. This is actually a second. My father worked for the company and was given this calendar because it had a couple of flaws. There is a slight imperfection on one of the corners and the end of a bard is coming through the back into box 25. Calendar had never been used, stored in a closet (there is no box). Bean Wooden Nautical Lighthouse Advent Calendar. It is a large wooden tabletop model. Approximately 17.5 inches high x 15 inches long and approx 7 inches wide. It is made of wood and has twenty four drawers that are 2 inches (diagonal) that you could fill with treats or other surprises. It has been displayed lightly there are some light scuffs. It has small pebble stones around the base. It is decorated with wooden Christmas lights. It is NOT a lighted piece. It was not designed as a lighted piece. A battery operated tealight might look good in the lighthouse tower.
