1960s General Plastics Municipal Pole Mount Christmas Yule-Brite Blow Mold Décor
RARE vintage municipal pole mounted utility pole / street light decorations. Made in the mid 1960′s by General Plastics of Marion IN. These decorations have graced the streets of two different Wisconsin municipalities over the past 50+ holiday seasons until they were recently retired. They where called “kissing Rings” in the 1960′s catalog but some people just call them “hanging spheres”. Each has one rare blow mold “Yule-Brite” finial ornament in the center. Hard to find Santas flying reindeer, this listing is for Vixen (no antler holes) and one of her male pals who is missing his antlers. They are in overall good condition- no cracks, breaks in plastic etc. The red reins are present but not completely attached, see pics. Mounting plate is missing on one but present on the other. THREE NEW GENERAL FOAM WISEMEN BLOW MOLDS. THAT LIGHT UP WITH WORKING LIGHT CORDS INCLUDED. They are in the original box but the box has some water marks, tears and wear. These are marked General Foam Plastics Virginia Beach, VA 23462 made in U. They are 25, 28 and 36 inches tall. These are new and never used but they may have paint loss, scrapes, scuff marks, over spray, paint drips and paint thicker or thinner in spots etc. None of the Wisemen have there jewels in them. There where no jewels in any of the boxes when I opened
