You will notice that this doll closely resembles some of the whimsical Joe Spencer “Gathered Traditions” style of dolls. This is because Joe was Melody’s inspiration for this type of art, and she even learned from him. The tag on this piece is Signed by the Artist Melody Martin and it is dated 10/27/2003. 13½ tall Very good preowned vintage condition. It is an interesting and unique Halloween decoration, with an unusual facial expression… And those big green eyes!! You cannot help to notice them, along with that BIG teethy smile (grin). Plus you have to love the patchwork style clothes and body. It is just a fascinating piece!
