For sale is this Rare Late 18th Century “El Caganer” Xmas Carving of man Pooping, Rare and interesting piece most likely Spanish or Italian c1780-c1820. Retains much of the original lead paint of the period. Bowl is a carved later replacement 20th Century. Shows obvious damage to hat/nose and flaking on shoes and body. Measures 14cm by 5.9cm, approx.
