One apple is missing out of the sack. I adore Gladys Boalt and somehow have collected a few duplicates or stopped short of completing a series.. Gladys Boalt ornaments are completely handmade in the United States. Their designs are traditional and share unique characteristics. Each face is hand painted and each figure is adorned with hand-sewn, painted, and applied clothing. In 1980, these wonderful ornaments were selected for the White House Tree by Nancy Reagan thus paving the way for their admission to the Smithsonian. Good vintage pre-owned condition with no breaks or cracks. There is some paint loss, scuffs, wear marks and a small bottom corner dent that you can’t see unless you unscrew the base.
